And sure enough, I felt better immediately. I never knew eating right could be so easy.

HEADED TO SEE MICKEY

I will be picking Brady up from school early tomorrow and headed to the airport to go to the most magical place on earth, DISNEY WORLD. Mikee has the International Builders Show so we tag along every year and go to the parks. Brady really loves Epcot and can't wait to stay late again this year. Last year we stayed at Epcot until midnight it was a blast!! We are staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge for the first time, we have a room with a balcony that over looks the animals in the safari at Animal Kingdom so we are excited about that as well. Well I must get to packing as I have said before I hate to pack, I love to travel but absolutely hate to pack. The above picture is from the Disney Cruise last summer.

TREATMENT

My Dad goes back to Philadelphia this week for more chemo not sure how long he has to do it but I am sure I am so glad its working. These pictures were taken on Thanksgiving one at our house and the other Dad and Alice getting ready to take off, he had such a nice time hanging out with everybody. Brady loved having him here to ride the golfcart and play games and just be a part of his everyday activities. I know my Dad probably out did himself those few days but Brady sure did love it and still talks about it. Please keep him in your prayers that he will continue to do well with the treatment and not be so sick. I will let you know when he gets back what the Drs say.

WHATS YOUR COLOR?

Take this test!

Your color is red, the color of racy sportscars, blushing cheeks, and luscious roses. Red symbolizes passion, romance, and love. So, since you're ruled by red, you probably trust your feelings more than your brain and tend to act spontaneously. If you see something you want, you go for it without thinking twice — impulsive is your middle name. You don't wait around for people to make decisions, either; you dive right in. Quite the romantic, you pay close attention to your emotions. In fact, if your heart isn't in what you're doing, you won't be satisfied. Of course, even when you do pour all your energy into the projects you tackle, your impetuous nature means your passions can shift as frequently as the wind. That's why some reds have trouble with commitment. Our advice? Next time you're feeling fickle, think before you act, if possible. You might be surprised at the results. Overall, though, it's great to be red. No one lives life more completely than you do.

THANKFUL THURSDAY

I decided I would do a short post on something I am thankful for. My husband and I became a part of this group YPO (Young Presidents Organization) almost 4 years ago. I had no idea that it would mean as much to us as it does, as a matter of fact I really didn't want to join because I thought it would be out of my league. This picture is his forum I think they call their group GIFT and I am so thankful for this group of men and what they mean to my husband. They are all husbands, fathers, leaders, givers and Mikees closest friends. This picture was from their trip to Mexico in January where they all had a really nice time. I really didn't know what to expect when we were put up for this and it has turned out to be wonderful for both of us. Their wifes are just as great and I enjoy getting to know them on the trips we take together. A wise person told me that I should be around people I want to be like and that make me want to do better and be better well thats what this picture represents to Mikee, they are those kind of people. And one more thing my spell check isn't working so sorry if I have any misspellings.

ASH WEDNESDAY

Well last night Brady and I were in bed and we talked about Ash Wednesday and what we were going to give up for Lent. Brady goes to a Episcopal school so on Wednesdays its chapel day and the Priest is wonderful and Brady learns so much from her. I feel so blessed that we are able to send him to such a great school where he can learn more about God everyday and apply it to his life. Brady is giving up his electronic games (Wii, Game Cube and Game boy etc.) and that will be a big one for him. So I had to think what would I give up that would really set an example for him. I have been trying not to drink sodas (big Coke drinker here) and Brady will remind me from time to time Mom those aren't good for you, so with that said NO SODAS for lent. Well its only till Easter but by then I will be over sodas and will have moved on to healthier drinking habbits. So let me know what are you doing for Lent??

LOVE THIS

Today I was at Target making my weekly run and found this great GIANT cupcake pan and of course I had to get it. Brady has a birthday coming up on the 19th and I thought this would be fun to make for our family dinner that night at our house. I will post pictures of the finished product in a few weeks so you can see how it turned out.

DERBY TIME

Its that time again the Cub Scout PINEWOOD DERBY. Brady absolutely loves this event, he really gets into it. The first year he won first place and went to the state race, there he won most radical, second year he was second place. Each year he picks a design for his car (block of wood) this year I think we are going to look like a rip stick! Pretty cool idea and Brady thought of it. So tonight Brady got started on his car with the help of Dad telling him how to get going. Brady and Mikee do this together but he lets Brady do most of the work. The race is in 2 weeks so I will let you know how he does.
