I am considering a new camera and wanted to know what camera you guys recommend. I have a really nice point and shoot Cannon that I keep in my purse and I have a nice big digital camera with several lens but I am not that happy with its performance so before I tell what it is I wanted to get some feedback from you. NEW CAMERA HELP
I am considering a new camera and wanted to know what camera you guys recommend. I LOVE my Nikin D-80! I am finally really figring out how to use it (off automatic mode). I think the Nikon D 40X is really nice too. Just my 2 cents. I know many people love the Cannon rebel XTI too:0) let us knwo what you pick.

Hi Cyndi, I have a Konica Minolta Maxxum 5D that I really like , but I really need to take about 15 hours of classes to figure the whole thing out, but I am getting better!!!

For me, the easier to use the better. I really like Sony products for that reason.
I have the XTI love it. Like Kimber I am learning.
I just posted this very same question a few days ago! I am trying to decide between the Nikon D-80 and the Canon Rebel Xti. My Hubby likes the Nikon....(he has always preferred Nikon...b/c his dad is a retired Plastic Surgeon...and he ALWAYS used a Nikon for his before and after shots!)..... but honestly I am not sure there is a whole lot of differences in them. I am still trying to read about both of them....I plan to go to our local camera store too and talk to a professional. I'll let you know what they say.
